Xhose Review

So we have all seen the 'As Seen On TV' commercials featuring the Xhose. You know, the amazing garden hose that automatically expands and contracts when the water is turned on and off.

Well, I wanted to take a closer look at the features and benefits of this product and see if it is all that it is cracked up to be.

We all want products and features that are going to make our lives easier, but we also want good quality products that will do everything they promise to do. I've also sifted through a number of the reviews from the largest retailer on the Internet to see just what other owners of the Xhose are saying about it - both good and bad. I've offered my personal experiences. I've also found a great video review of the Xhose that was conducted by Fox News. I hope to provide you with the information you need to determine if the Xhose is right for you!

So, if you are tired of dragging around a heavy garden hose and dealing with kinks that cut off your water flow, then the Xhose just might be for you.

Some of the benefits of the Xhose are:

• The Xhose won't kink and cut off your water flow!
• It automatically expands and contracts when the water is turned on and off.
• It is much smaller than a traditional garden hose, making it easy to store. When in use, it will expand up to 3 times of its normal length.
• It is light weight. A 25 foot hose weighs only 13 ounces. A 50 foot hose weighs just 2.8 pounds. This is substantially lighter than a traditional garden hose, which can weigh as much as 5 pounds for a 25 foot hose and 8 pounds for a 50 foot hose.
• This hose will not become a tangled mess when storing.
• It includes an adjustable dimmer for controlling the water flow.

Some of the drawbacks of the Xhose are:

• This hose uses plastic couplers, which are not as durable as metal couplers. Plastic ends are more likely to break than metal ends.
• If you have a high pressure water system, the Xhose may not be a good fit for you. It is not approved for over 65 P.S.I.
• There have been several reviewers that have complained about the quality of the Xhose when compared against a traditional garden hose.
• This style of hose is not available in lengths over 75 feet.

Check out the video below where the Fox 4 News Channel in Dallas, Texas did their own Deal or Dud review of the Xhose. The video runs several minutes in length, so I will go ahead and spoil the ending for you. They labelled it A Deal! A professional from a large nursery put it through the tests and was very surprised at how well it worked.

The Fox 4 News Channel from the Dallas/Fort Worth area in Texas conducted the following video review of the Xhose. A professional florist who takes care of a large nursery (the equivalent of two city blocks) put this Xhose to the test, and labelled it A Deal!
